What are the standards for Identity Documents (ID)?

To avoid delays, submitted identity documents must meet the following criteria:

Supported Countries

The ID must be issued by a supported country. Documents from restricted jurisdictions will not be accepted.

Accepted Document Types

  • Passport

  • National ID Card, only if:

    • It shows nationality, or

    • It is issued exclusively to local nationals

Validity

  • Must be government-issued

  • Must be authentic (no fake, forged, or altered documents)

  • Must not be expired at submission

  • Must be the original physical document

  • The image must be taken directly with a camera

  • Photocopies, screenshots, or scanned copies are not accepted

Image Requirements

  • Color image only (no black & white)

  • All four corners are visible

  • Clear and legible text

  • Not cropped, blurry, or obstructed

Document Condition

  • Not damaged, torn, scratched, or altered

  • No markings, edits, or scribbles

Failure to meet these requirements may result in verification delays/rejection.
